The 15th August 1944 Airborne Museum Association
Our friends in Southern France, Jean Michel Soldi and Eric Renoux have devoted their lives to perpetuating the memory of those who gave their lives for their freedom. They work tirelessly to help keep the story of Operation Dragoon alive. Their wonderful work in collecting artifacts and opening a museum bears testament to their dedication to keeping “the Operation Dragoon story” alive. The terrible floods in Southern France in June 2010 has meant that the collection is not on show at this moment in time. The individual exhibits have all had to be cleaned and renovated and this is very expensive not only in terms of time but also in monetary terms. You can see the posts here on this site about the terrible flood and the damage it caused. 15 Aout 1944 Airborne Museum Association
